Two great classes are coming your way!!!!! On Wednesday, May 9th, Roxane will be hosting a class with recipes to help you with arthritis discomfort. Are you having trouble with joints and inflammation? Many foods can reduce this problem and some foods will increase the situation. Learn what foods to avoid and learn recipes with the foods that will help you.
We will start class with a “Spinach spread & homemade hummus with vegetables”, and “Thai pumpkin soup”.
Following Roxane’s brief introduction, you will join Scott, Roxane, and Kathy in the kitchen and learn how to make breakfast recipes like “Rhubarb, apple, & ginger muffins”, “Mushroom & spinach frittata”, and “Gluten-free crepes with cherries and coconut milk”. You will also learn how to make “Lemon & herbed salmon and zucchini”, “Italian style stuffed red peppers”, “Mexican brown rice”, and a “Hearty kale salad”. Enjoy a “Cherry mango smoothie” and a “Pineapple blast” during class. There will also be hot tea & kombucha, for you to enjoy.
Cost is $30.00 and starts at 5:45. (hands-on class). $10 discount for taking both classes
On May 10th, we will stick with tradition and host a Cinco de Mayo cooking class. We will be starting the evening with “Smoky chipotle and bacon guacamole with homemade salsa & chips”, and “Queso Fundido”, while enjoying Mexican beer, wine, and our first signature cocktail, “house-made margaritas”.
During class we will be creating recipes such as “Bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers”, Carne asada (grilled rib eye) with lime butter”, “Calabacitas”, “Chicken Mole”, and a “Fire & ice salad”. Other featured recipes will include “Crispy black bean tacos with feta & cabbage slaw”, “Mexican quinoa”, “Cornbread tamale pie”, and “Tres Leches cake with mangos”. We will also be enjoying a “Pineapple drop”, “Mermaid waters”, and a “Tequila sunrise”. This will be a hands on course, so bring your aprons!!! Samples of all drinks & foods created will be available for your enjoyment.
The class will be held at 11712 E. Boone Ave in the Spokane Valley and starts at 5:45 P.M. and last until 8:30 P.M.. You must be 21 years of age or older.
Cost is $50.00 per person. Class size is limited. Both classes for $70.00 (a $10.00 discount)
