Thursday, April 11th Lavender Cooking Class
Special Price for late notice cooking class--$40.00 per guest
This Thursday, April 11th, we will be joining up with Sandra from Evening Light Lavender Farm to bring to you a special class with touches of lavender. We will be starting the evening with “Homemade meatballs with lavender sweet & sour sauce”, and “Fig, feta, and lavender honey crostinis”, while enjoying beer, wine, and our first cocktail, “Citrus fruit Sangria with lavender”.
During class we will be creating recipes such as “Grilled rib eye with lavender butter (Artic snow lavender-peppery) and sautéed lavender mushrooms”, “Lavender roasted potatoes (Royal velvet lavender)”, “Beet salad with honey lavender vinaigrette”, and “Lavender scented fruit salad”. You will also enjoy “Grilled organic chicken thighs with homemade honey-lavender BBQ sauce (Avice Hill lavender)”, “Chunky herbed potato-corn chowder with bacon”, “Lavender tea bread”, and for our dessert, we will be making “Spring cupcakes with lavender frosting (Melissa lavender-sweet) and sugared flowers” & sample “Chocolate lavender fudge with salted caramel topping”. Our drink selection will consist of a “Lavender infused lemonade”, and “Lavender mojitos”. This will be a hands on course, so bring your aprons!!! Samples of all drinks & foods created will be available for your enjoyment.
The class will be held at 11712 E. Boone Ave in the Spokane Valley and starts at 5:45 P.M. and last until 8:30 P.M. You must be 21 years of age or older.
Special price is $40.00 per person (normally $50.00). Class size is limited.
Bring your wallet or check book. Sandra will be have a wide variety of lavender products for you to purchase and make your recipes at home!!!!
